circa 1880, with 2 1/2in. reblued barrel signed '-COLT-' engraved possibly by another with American scrolls to the sides of breech against a stippled ground, further scrolls and an engraved band at the muzzle, crescent fore-sight, silver-plated brass frame and backstrap engraved en suite, reblued spur trigger and hammer and possibly non-factory two piece abalone birdshead grips
